Nora Mørk is a Norwegian professional handball player widely regarded as one of the best right backs of her generation, known for her scoring ability, technical skill and high impact performances in major international tournaments.
She began playing handball at a young age in Oslo and developed alongside her twin sister Thea Mørk, who also played professionally. Nora quickly stood out for her attacking talent and progressed through Norwegian club systems before breaking into top level European handball as a teenager.
Her club career has taken her across several of Europe’s biggest teams, including Larvik HK, Győri ETO KC, CSM București, Vipers Kristiansand and currently Team Esbjerg. At club level, she has won multiple national championships and has been especially dominant in the EHF Champions League, where she has lifted the trophy multiple times with different teams.
Internationally, she is a key player for the Norwegian national team, with numerous major titles including European Championships, World Championships and an Olympic gold medal. She has also frequently been one of the top scorers in international tournaments, often leading scoring charts even in high pressure competitions.
Her career has not been without challenges, as she has dealt with serious injury setbacks, particularly knee injuries that kept her out of competition for extended periods. Despite this, she has repeatedly returned to top level performance and remained a central figure in world handball.
Outside of sport, she has also received media attention for her relationship with Swedish handball player Jerry Tollbring and for becoming a mother in 2025, which was widely covered in sports media alongside her return to professional play.
